The natural hair is just braided and plastic slipped through and knotted along the braid, with quite a few at the base. Very easy even for someone with as limited patience as me. It took half an hour for a friend to braid the hair and about five with plenty of breaks for me to stick the plastic in. We've also used Wilkinson washing line, unravelled and cut, for a VERY cheap alternative. One bundle, at £1.50, does a whole head but sadly only comes in blue, green, murky yellow and white. The plastic in the photo is Lanyard, also very cheap. It cost about £15 to do the whole head.
